Marta García-Valenzuela leads the Sustainable Diversity and Leadership practice at Talengo, transforming the firm into a benchmark for strategic management of these issues in executive search, leadership consulting, and board advisory services.

She began her professional career in selection and assessment at an international consulting firm, coordinating teams in Madrid and Barcelona. In 2011, she joined Talengo to develop the diversity practice in its three key dimensions: gender, culture, and generational. Since then, she has advised top management of large national and international corporations on the business impact of effective strategic diversity management. Under her leadership, Talengo has executed diversity management projects based on organizational diagnosis provided by diversity audits. She has established diversity committees, trained diversity ambassadors, and developed cultural transformation projects through the inclusive leadership model. Moreover, she has supported executives in their international careers, sensitizing them to different business practices and facilitating their successful adaptation to the destination country’s culture to ensure the success of international operations.

Marta holds a degree in Psychology from the Autonomous University of Madrid and is an Expert in Forensic Psychology certified by the COP. She was a scholarship recipient of the Women’s Leadership program at the Rafael del Pino Foundation. She is certified in competency-based management tools, Assessment Centre, and other evaluation instruments. Additionally, she holds diversity management certification from the Chamber of Commerce, Foundation for Diversity, and CEPAIM. She collaborates with APD, Chamber of Commerce, and Intrama as a speaker on leadership and diverse talent topics and contributes to specialized media in economics and human resources as a diversity expert. She is an ICC-certified coach. Currently, she directs and mentors the Mentoring program with students towards sustainability for the WAS (Woman Action Sustainability) association. She is also a member of the Academic Advisory Board of the General Management Area at EAE Business School and a Trustee of the Alliance for Solidarity Foundation. In 2021, she was recognized as one of the Top 100 women in the executive category. Marta is the author of the books «Heroes of Diversity» and «Sustainable Leaders.»
